Interactive Ad Platform selected as finalists in Programmatic, Interactive and Rich Display Media categories
Contobox™ and The Home Depot Canada are finalists for 3 MediaPost 2020 Omma Awards for two recent campaigns, which include one nomination in the Rich Display Media: Single Execution or Campaign category, one in the Programmatic category, and one in the Interactive category.
The Home Depot Canada partnered with Contobox™ to update their “Don’t Let Winter Catch You Unprepared” campaign for 2020, so they could reach Canadians with winter-ready products when they needed them most. Together, they integrated the retailer’s e-commerce inventory and The Weather Network API into shoppable display ads, triggering weather-specific creative with related in-stock products up to three days before a major weather event. This first-to-market programmatic execution is nominated in the Rich Display Media: Single Execution or Campaign and Programmatic categories.
The home improvement retailer also worked with Contobox™ for their “Refresh for Less” campaign, which combined three separate flyer events into a single display ad. The expandable ad was built with Contobox’s True Intent tracking technology, delivering in-depth engagement data collected from the ad and The Home Depot’s website to their DMP in real-time. This allowed them to segment their most engaged audiences into product-specific categories and retarget them with hyper-relevant shoppable ads. This campaign is nominated in the Rich Display Media: Single Execution or Campaign, Programmatic, and Interactive categories.
